Johannessen, is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, and has practiced civil, business and tax law since 1983, and exclusively family law for over 25 years. Mark is an experienced litigator and trained family law mediator and collaborative law attorney, with decades of experience handling simple to complex family law matters in and out of court.
With an extensive business and financial background and also a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), Mark is qualified to mediate or act as your collaborative attorney in simple to complex property and financial dissolution cases using a cooperative, respectful, and professional approach to conflict resolution.
Mark limits his practice to exclusively family law mediation, collaborative law matters, and limited legal services in the Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Jose-South Bay areas.

I felt he had no backbone and backed down to the female attorney he was up against. He charges a large fee without providing much help.
