Worst lawyer I have ever dealt with, overcharged for minimal work. I even had to locate the applicable case law for him. Of some of the work product produced I ended up throwing a majority out as it was completely unusable before i fired him I found an another lawyer for literally a fraction of ...the price While working with him he refused to bring my demands to the opposing side claiming they were "unreasonable", Oddly enough when the case was settled they approached me offering, If not exceeding, what he refused to present. Could've save thousands of dollars has Richard Paris presented my demands when requested

I was originally referred to Mr. Paris by a friend and former client. From our first meeting it was clear that Mr. Paris was very knowledgeable. My case was borderline, and I didn't have the funds to pay him a retainer or fee's. He accepted my case on a contingency basis, probably knowing going in th...ere wasn't much of a chance of winning. He fought hard and kept me informed every step of the way. My case carried on for months and no doubt Mr. Paris had countless hours of his time invested. Even when it became clear chances of winning were slim he would not give up. This man gets his teeth into a case he does not let go. I will forever be indebted to him for his tenacity and hard work. A more trustworthy and knowledgeable attorney you will not find.

I met with him and he spent quite a bit of time answering my questions and explaining the... law to me. He was generous with his time and obviously very knowledgeable and experienced. He jumped right into my case, which was highly contested. In very difficult circumstances he achieved a good settlement. Throughout our working relationship, I found Richard to be an excellent communicator. When I had questions, he quickly got back to me and explained the law as it applied to my case in clear, easily understood language. I also found him to be extremely capable, coming up with solid legal support for our positions. Most importantly, he was compassionate and understanding. Richard provided great value. Since my case ended, I’ve called him a few times to ask some questions and he’s always been willing to talk to me on the phone. I have no hesitation in recommending Richard to anyone who needs a skilled and professional attorney.

I have used Richard several times in dealing with my wife's X-Husband. It's a very, very tricky and delicate situation and Richard has given me really solid advice time and again, and has managed to actually keep me more or less OUT of court, which I consider to be the greatest service an attorney c...an provide. He's also advised me in some real estate issues and represented me in a very terrifying and serious harassment situation wherein I was actually worried about the welfare of my family. Don't expect him to candy-coat your situation. He'll be straight with you and give you a good idea of the odds of coming out on top. He also knows the judicial make-up over at the civic center ... knowing the judges and their disposition and the way they tend to rule is HUGE and a big part of the legal strategizing. Im writing this and seeing two negative reviews in the right hand column and am a bit baffled. I've never been over billed and he hasn't make any mistakes in my dealing with him. He's a good guy and a hard worker who knows his business and all the stuff he's done for me has definitely been done and billed in a fair way.
