Over a 35-year career in law, Matt White has earned his reputation as an experienced and talented trial lawyer. In addition to his primary practice in personal injury cases, Matt also has extensive experience in a wider variety of civil litigation matters, including real estate, business disputes, and employment law.
Matt lectures extensively for lawyers and law students on trial practice, ethics, and settlement skills. Over the last few years, he has given presentations for Hastings College of the Law, Lorman Educational Seminars, the Marin County Bar Association, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Marin County Courts, and for Central and Southern California judges. He is on the adjunct faculty of the University of San Francisco Law School.
Matt has regularly served as a judge pro tem in San Francisco and Marin counties, presiding over Superior Court settlement conferences and Small Claims Court trials.
Matt has served in many leadership positions of the Marin County Bar Association, including election as President in 2004. For each of the past 10 years, Matt has been recognized as a Northern California "Super Lawyer."
As a panelist with Resolution Remedies, Matt is frequently appointed by the courts and by other lawyers throughout the Bay Area to serve as a mediator, arbitrator, and discovery referee.
