$ 500-500 per hour
Matthew began working in family law in 2002 when he starting working for Rachel Castrejon, a family law attorney. He was soon working for Ali Quam, who is currently the family law facilitator for Marin County. He expanded his experience into criminal law when he interned and volunteered at both Marin County and Yolo County District Attorney's Office. His experience in criminal law gives him a deeper understanding into substance abuse,alcohol abuse and domestic violence. Matthew has taken custody issues to trial and obtained favorable verdicts for his clients on multiple occasions, even with countervailing recommendations from Family Court Services. He attended the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers trial practicum in 2012. He has handled multiple domestic violence restraining order hearings. Matthew has also assisted clients in dealing with the Department of Child Support Services proceedings.

My thanks to Matthew Briggs
Matthew Briggs is a respectable lawyer building a solid practice in Marin. I got in contact with Matthew after attempting to resolve my custody issue for more than two years talking with my ex and several rounds of mediation. It had been extremely difficult and I was discouraged, stressed, financia...
"I am always happy to have Matthew Briggs as my opposing counsel. I know his position will be well grounded in the law and in the facts of the case, and that my client won't be forced into wasting time and money while we work to resolve the issues of the case. He is also very competent in court when issues cannot be resolved by agreement. I highly recommend Matt Briggs."
"Matthew is extremely knowledgeable about family law. He is also very thoughtful, always keeping the best interests of the children first. No matter how busy Matthew is, he always seems to make time for the matter at hand. I highly recommend Matthew Briggs."
"Matt is a great trial attorney. He has the necessary litigation skills to back up his solid knowledge of the family code. I've had the opportunity to watch Matt's courtroom work, and I have to say that I am very impressed with his ability to advocate for his clients in a courtroom setting. I heartily recommend Matt to anyone looking for an attorney in the north bay area."
"I endorse this lawyer. Matt is an excellent advocate who does great work. He is able to think on his feet and get the best possible outcome for his clients."
"I have had the pleasure of acting as a supervising attorney for Matt on several cases. He is highly qualified."
