My 89 yr old mom arrived from Hawaii last month. She was noticeably weaker and more forgetful. When she fell backwards and hit the back of her head, we both knew she needed an estate plan to get her affairs in order. Mike told me he had opened his estate planning practice. I now live in Roseville. Mike agreed to meet me and my mom half way between my house and his office in Oakland. He spent several hours with us, explaining all the options and choices that my mom could make. My mom was very hesitant about giving any one of her children a power of attorney over her finances. Mike explained the options, their strengths and weaknesses, and created a plan that my mom felt comfortable with. After this first meeting, we had a second meeting, again, Mike meeting us halfway, to discuss the final documents. My mother is happy and we are much more at ease knowing that my mom's property, her health care decisions and what to do about her finances if she ever becomes disabled, is taken care of. Also, his rates are very reasonable.

Mike was very helpful with my will and trust documents, in revising them to meet my own needs and preferences. He knew how to advise me with awareness and skill, how to hear my needs, and address them effectively. I have not used his services for the probate process, but know him to be high energy, ... knowledgeable, and caring.
