Jessica Riggin is a partner at Rukin Hyland & Riggin LLP, an employment law firm with offices in San Francisco and Oakland. Jessica litigates individual and class action cases on behalf of employees, including claims for violations of wage and hour and overtime laws, sexual harassment claims, whistleblower and retaliation claims, and discrimination and equal pay claims. Jessica also advises executives and professionals in pre-litigation matters (for example, non-competes agreements, severance agreements, and review of employment agreements).
Jessica is a member of the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the California Lawyers Association and a member of the Membership Committee of the National Employment Lawyers Association. She has been the co-author of the Plaintiffs’ Litigation Chapter of the California Wage and Hour Law Treatise published by the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) since 2014 and has been named a Rising Star since 2016 by Super Lawyers Magazine. She speaks and writes frequently on employment law issues. Prior to joining the firm, Jessica clerked for the Honorable David O. Carter of the Central District of California. She is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Boston College.
