Dan was able to get a settlement for a problem with a medical device that caused permanent injuries.

Dan Leathers, my attorney, was able to obtain a reasonable settlement in a product liability case. The case was against a company for marketing a medical device that was not approved by the FDA to use in the manner it was used on me. This device was used in my fusion surgery and caused permanent in...juries that will most likely cause pain for the rest of my life. I will never be able to thank Dan enough for giving me the feeling that thru my lawsuit, the medical device company will change their marketing procedures and hopefully no one else will suffer from the damages their medical device caused me. Dan was able to give me the feeling of justice for the pain I have gone thru to date, and with the settlement gave me the feeling of having the resources to supplement future medical costs I may have in the future because of the injuries I sustained. I highly recommend Dan for his attention to detail, for making me feel like I was being taken care of, and for making the entire process as stress free as possible. I feel confident he will continue to fight for me when needed.

REVIEW OF DANIEL R. LEATHERS PERFORMANCE

TO THE POINT AT WHICH WE HAVE ARRIVED, MR. LEATHERS HAS KEPT ME WELL INFORMED AND EXPLAINED THE ENTIRE PROCESS TO ME IN TERMS I COULD WELL UNDERSTAND. HE CERTAINLY APPEARS TO BE WELL VERSED AND MOST KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE ZIMMER DUROM CUP, WHICH I RECEIVED OVER FIVE YEARS AGO, AND BY THE WAY, WHICH... I WAS NEVER INFORMED OF THE RECALL, BY EITHER ZIMMER OR THE SURGEON WHO IMPLANTED IT. NEEDLESS, TO SAY THE LEAST, I WAS ANGRY AND FRIGHTENED OF THE POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES WHICH MIGHT HAVE OCCURRED. MR. LEATHERS COMFORTED ME AND TOLD ME TO PROCEED WITH THE REVISION AND HE WOULD HANDLE ALL THE NECESSARY DETAILS TO SEE THAT I WAS JUSTLY COMPENSATED FOR HAVING TO GO THROUGH ALL I WAS EXPERIENCING. HE DID PUT MY MIND AT EASE AND TOLD ME TO CONCENTRATE ON THE SURGERY AND GETTING MYSELF WHOLE AND WELL AGAIN. ANYTIME I CALLED MR. LEATHERS WITH A QUESTION OF ANY KIND HE WAS MORE THAN HELPFUL, AND IF I WAS UNABLE TO SPEAK WITH HIM AT THAT VERY MOMENT, HE GOT BACK TO ME ASAP. HIS WILLINGNESS AND KINDNESS DID EARN MY FAITH AND TRUST IN HIM. I AM MORE THAN PLEASED TO BE WORKING WITH HIM IN THIS SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS.
