Mr. Louis Goodman took care of me from the first day we met for a consultation. I was involved in a misdemeanor case and I needed an attorney as my court date was approaching. He then took the time to explain the the process. He guided me through the process and kept me updated on all the necessary timelines and dates to be on top of the case. He provided me with material to navigate the process, and advised me to attend classes that are shown to be helpful in getting a favorable outcome. He kept in touch with me to steer me in the right direction to get the case dismissed according to the court’s timeline. One thing I liked about having Mr. Goodman as my attorney is that he never promised anything, but have me the assurance that I also needed to do my part to get a favorable outcome. I trusted him and I’m glad it all worked out at the end because there is nothing more stressful than to have a case hanging over your head. It affected my whole like and even though no one can put the toothpaste back in the bottle, the next best thing is to move forward to get out of the dire situation. Only then can I be fully confident of my future. All in all, it worked out. As I mentioned, the misdemeanor case got dismissed. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Goodman to anyone who has a need for a defense attorney to represent them and to get one’s life back on track. If I could give ten stars to Louis Goodman, I truly would. We were referred to Louis by one of the leading criminal defense attorneys in Silicon Valley. There are very few out there who give right direction when you are in trouble/nervous, do not know what to do. Mr. Goodman is one of those who dealt my case with a lot of patience and kept saying time will take its course from day 1 which is 100% true. No need to be aggressive when you defending the ...case. He responded to each and every call I made to his office and helped me calm my nerves, he was more of teacher than an attorney to me which literally helped me get out of the mess I was in. I met a lot of attorneys before I met Mr. Goodman and I even fired an attorney with one of the renowned firms in Oakland because of his stupid theories and stories. I fired him after meeting Mr. Goodman and he got it straight on day 1 with time he should be able to dismiss my case which he did and I am really thankful to him for what he did.
