To say this man is a great lawyer, is a understatement. I honestly would recommend this lawyer 10 out of 10 times. I just recently had the worst 6 months of my life dealing with an ugly custody battle. This past weekend I was blessed with my son coming back home and I could not be more pleased! Danie...l Pocklington always reached out to me during this time, he never made me feel as though I had no lawyer. His strategies were perfect. Everything about the time I had with him during my case I truly recommend to anyone out there dealing with family law. Daniel truly cares about his clients. I know this firsthand. I am so grateful for Dan Pocklingtons help in my child custody case. I've hired lawyers before over the years, as the mother of my child has a high conflict personality. Dan stood out as a better listener, more compassionate and empathic towards my case and he charged me less than the other lawyers... I initially reached out to for help. I truly felt heard and understood as the one hour consultation turned into an hour and a half at no extra charge. During the consultation he communicated his knowledge of the law that pertained to my case and he helped me formulate a creative path forward. I left the office feeling that I was taken care of. Afterwards, I prepared the information he requested and submitted it to his office. That day he reorganized and prepared the information I provided in a court-specific and court-friendly format and filed it with the court and the mother of my child. Again, making me feel like I was taken care of. The documents he prepared gave the mediator and judge a comprehensive view in an organized and yet simple way of what my child and I are up against with mom - and it didn’t cost me as much as the attorneys I’ve worked with in the past. Daniel, took my case when I was so frustrated and about to give up. But once he took my case on I felt hope. In your life, you would not know how painful it is to deal with irrational people until you get into it. My life was up and down struggling dealing with mentally ex. Due to my health issues and my financial difficulty, I need to back out to live a normal life again. I don't care if I am poor or not. ...I need my healthy life back. I hired previous lawyer before Dan, he left me hanging up tight. I found Dan on Avvo. I read all of his reviews before making my decision. Dan is a great lawyer. He keep me update with all the things my ex lawyer throwing at us. My ex is all about money. I wish she would be happy with money than living with me. I worked every night and even my day off for two years to fix my house got big values, and even borrowing from my parent for the down payment of the house. Without my parents, we are homeless. I got all headache from my ex from little things in the house like CDs, blu ray ..... since she want more and more money ......etc. It was a waste of time to deal with others side since I am making little income while my ex making more money than me to have her lawyer harassing me. Dan is ethical lawyer, he would not waste any of your time to use any non-sense methods to throw back even though I have a lot of evidence to show my ex stealing stuff from the house. We don't want to be like any of them. He would work with you to get you out safely. I think it is really good for me, because life is not always about money, it is about peace of mind. healthy and rest. Dan knows what to do and how to protect your rights. I am really highly recommend anyone who have painful marriage to step forward to hire Dan without any doubt. very pleased with his staff and his office services. I would always keep in touch with his office to recommend to all my friends or relative if they have problem, Trust me, bipolar people is not easy for Dan to deal with. but he saved my life which I thought I would not have it anymore. Dan has turned my family law case on its ear. My ex is a sociopath represented by the one of the most incompetent attorneys. Dan is very responsive and knowledgeable and represents his client with integrity and common sense. The judge listens to Dan and agree with his exparte filings .
