In your life, you would not know how painful it is to deal with irrational people until you get into it. My life was up and down struggling dealing with mentally ex. Due to my health issues and my financial difficulty, I need to back out to live a normal life again. I don't care if I am poor or not. ...I need my healthy life back. I hired previous lawyer before Dan, he left me hanging up tight. I found Dan on Avvo. I read all of his reviews before making my decision. Dan is a great lawyer. He keep me update with all the things my ex lawyer throwing at us. My ex is all about money. I wish she would be happy with money than living with me. I worked every night and even my day off for two years to fix my house got big values, and even borrowing from my parent for the down payment of the house. Without my parents, we are homeless. I got all headache from my ex from little things in the house like CDs, blu ray ..... since she want more and more money ......etc. It was a waste of time to deal with others side since I am making little income while my ex making more money than me to have her lawyer harassing me. Dan is ethical lawyer, he would not waste any of your time to use any non-sense methods to throw back even though I have a lot of evidence to show my ex stealing stuff from the house. We don't want to be like any of them. He would work with you to get you out safely. I think it is really good for me, because life is not always about money, it is about peace of mind. healthy and rest. Dan knows what to do and how to protect your rights. I am really highly recommend anyone who have painful marriage to step forward to hire Dan without any doubt. very pleased with his staff and his office services. I would always keep in touch with his office to recommend to all my friends or relative if they have problem, Trust me, bipolar people is not easy for Dan to deal with. but he saved my life which I thought I would not have it anymore. I hired Daniel Pocklington over a year ago to help me litigate my divorce and child custody case. While the case was not originally overly complicated the other party has done their best to drag out the legal proceedings. The whole process has taken much longer than neither Dan nor I originally thoug...ht. Dan has been there to help me deal with each new legal obstacle we have been thrown. He is responsive to my calls and emails. It has never taken more then 24 hours to hear back from him, especially since some legal matters are time sensitive this has been a really valuable trait on his part. In preparation for long case hearings he has always done his best to use legal aids (who are great and professional as well) to help compile evidence while keeping the cost down, when possible. They always arrive with a box or more of evidence ready to present to the court to help my case. He is always organized and ready to go during court appearances, he gives me ample time to prepare what he needs from me and always reminds me of deadlines so we get all the paperwork in on time to the court. He has been flexible and understanding when it comes to payment and is always willing to work with me to figure out how to set up payment plans. As unpleasant as this legal experience has been I am really glad I chose Dan to represent me, he has done his best to keep the ball rolling and express my views and opinions accurately and efficiently to the court.

In my personal and professional life I have managed many attorneys and he registers high in quality with my experience with lawyers. I am high maintena...nce and do know what I want. Mr. Pocklington picked his battles carefully with me and when he was right he was right. In a highly contested child custody and divorce battle he was able to secure joint custody and a good schedule for having my children with me. What stands out most about Dan is his character.... He comes across as professional and kind in the court room and represents very well. I would choose him all over again no matter what other attorney would take my case.
