Dana is a Bay Area native and has been a licensed attorney in California for nearly 20 years. She earned her law degree from Santa Clara University Law School where she was a member of the legal honors fraternity. During law school, Dana worked as a summer associate with the family law division of a California based law firm where she discovered her passion for family law. She went on to practice for many years at that firm's Los Angeles office before returning to the Bay Area. Dana joined a boutique family law firm in Sunnyvale where her practice focused exclusively on family law matters representing clients in mediation and through all phases of family law litigation from initial consultations to settlement or trial.

Dana founded Morse Mediation Group to focus her practice solely on mediation and divorce consultation.

Very talented lawyer
Dana did an amazing job handling my mediation and managing my volatile ex-husband. When I started the mediation process I had very low expectations that we would be able to finalize our divorce without going to court but Dana was masterful in her handling of the situation. Early on she realized that we would need to mediate separately and her foresight helped us resolve a number of contentious issues and come to an agreement without going to court. I highly recommend Dana...she's a wonderful negotiator and really takes the time to understand her clients and their needs.

Hire Dana and you won’t regret it! We met Dana under unfortunate circumstances but her knowledge, patience, and humane approach made the experience so much better than it could have been! She is detail oriented, experienced, and understanding. In very short period of time, she was able to untangle difficult situations and come up with helpful solutions and advice. She went extra mile to give me advice on different subjects even after the case closed. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dana Morse is a superlative divorce mediator.
Ms. Morse mediated my divorce. She was very kind and friendly while still being superlatively professional. She was also very patient with both my wife and I while we were nit-picking ourselves. The whole process took just a few meetings and a couple of weeks. Ms. Morse remarked several times about how quickly and painlessly the mediation was proceeding, and I believe she deserves much of the credit for that--she made navigating a complex and uncomfortable legal process very smooth. Not only did she have answers to all of our questions, she understood how to communicate them to us. I can't recommend Dana Morse highly enough.

Dana’s legal advice and counsel was just what I needed, when I needed it. A divorce is difficult on its own. With children involved, the process becomes tricky. I reached a point in the process where I could no longer go forward by myself. My ex was beginning to take advantage of my kindness and with her being an attorney, I didn’t feel on level ground any longer. Dana cut right to the chase. She provided a pathway forward, and advised me that I did indeed have rights. Now, my ex and I work very well together as parents to two teenage boys. I truly believe Dana was the catalyst for carving a pathway to what co-parenting should be. With her move into mediation, I know Dana will provide not only the same level of professionalism in her new capacity, but also a well-honed perspective from years of Family Law experience to each any and every client she works with, going forward. Nothing but Gratitude
Divorce can be a logistical nightmare and an emotionally triggering experience. I cannot say enough positive things about Dana. Her practical approach kept us level headed and out of the court system. She was objective + straight forward, but also had empathy for all involved. Dana has an incredible knowledge of family law and was able to provide me with legal advice that I could comprehend without feeling too overwhelmed. My divorce process went more smoothly than I could have imagined, and today my ex-husband and I are able to be friends, our children are better off because of this. I could not have asked for a better representation. I have nothing but gratitude.
