Divorce case

Worst attorney ever! I hired this man to represent me on my divorce. Though I know that there are no winners in a divorce, this man made me lose everything, my house, furniture, cars, and I almost lost my two kids. In addition, this man couldn't even get me child support! I went two years without... child support while he supposedly fought In court for me. Terrible experience. I would never recommend this man for anything!

Failure to Fully Disclose led to a world of negative outcomes

Chris Hall initially did a fairly good job for me. However, when he felt the case was becoming a money loss for him, he began to distance himself from his professional duties. He then failed to appear for numerous court appearances, including 2 sentencing hearings despite being contracted for all app...earances. Things got pretty bad when I was provided with bad legal advise, and entirely misled into believing his experience and competence were much greater than in reality. He advertised that he does immigration law, and yet failed to inform me of the consequences of such during a forced plea entry without notice. That is just a small taste of my experience. I would pursue every possible alternative, and would actually recommend self-representation over this attorney.

Excellent Lawyer

Over the years, Chris has represented several family and friends in person injury cases and we've found him to be an excellent laywer. I have the highest confidence in his doing the best job for his clients.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
