Biography
Joel is a fanatic about the art and science of DUI defense. Joel completed his undergraduate work at UC Berkeley and went to law school at UC Hastings. Joel went on to complete a second law degree at NYU Law School. Joel actively serves as a court-appointed counsel for indigent defendants in Contra Costa County that the Public Defender's Office is unable to defend. Joel also previously served as a volunteer assistant district attorney in San Francisco. Having experience with both the prosecution and defense of crimes provides Joel with a unique skill set to advocate aggressively for his clients.
