Brian Mark Fong

B. Mark Fong is a trial lawyer with 36 years experience who has obtained multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts, specializing in the trial of  catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, premises liability and medical malpractice cases throughout California in State and Federal Court. 

Mr. Fong's diverse cases include car, truck, bus, airplane, construction, elevator, crane, jet ski and scuba diving accidents; defective medical devices, drugs, and other products; suits against government entities for violation of civil rights and dangerous conditions of public property; trip and falls; concussion and traumatic brain injuries; medical malpractice arbitrations against Kaiser Hospital/Permanente Medical Group; suits against general contractors and subcontractors for construction accidents; breach of contract, fraud and insurance bad faith.

Mr. Fong sits on the Bar Association of San Francisco Judiciary Committee, which evaluates applicants for Superior Court judge. He is past Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Cameron House, a San Francisco Chinatown-based social service agency for youth and families, and currently sits on the board of Chinatown Community Development Center, which works to provide affordable housing and safe streets for residents of San Francisco.

Mr. Fong is a third generation San Franciscan. He received his B.A. in Political Science with high honors in 1978 from the University of California Berkeley, and his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1981. In law school he served as extern to the Hon. Winslow Christian, Justice of the First District California Court of Appeal. Mark was admitted to the California Bar in 1981 and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
