I hired Robert to help me with what I thought would be a straightforward divorce that turned into an epic situation where the other side just didn't want to participate in a shared reality. Robert's sense of humor and incredible knowledge of the law helped keep me absolutely safe and sane throughout ...a process riddled with surprise motions and more. I ended up being able to settle for a number that was really manageable for me, and Robert was an excellent guide through complicated issues around spousal support (which I was being asked for), health insurance, and more. He was an invaluable resource on questions I had like, can I date? Can my parents buy me property? What on earth is going on with opposing counsel? The divorce was the most emotionally difficult thing I've ever had to go through; working with Robert meant that I had the time and space to focus on processing my feelings and emotions because I felt financially and legally protected by him and his team. I knew that he was really on my side, and would use every avenue available to him to make sure that I got out of this with a fair and equitable settlement. When it looked like we were going to have to litigate, he explained what that might look like, and helped me to see that this didn't mean that my life was over. And then we settled! I truly hope never to get divorced again because it was just so personally wrenching, but I would absolutely work with Robert again if I had to time travel and do it all over again. 10/10 recommend.
