The Best!

I had an H1B status but I've never worked for the sponsoring H1B employer and it's already been 4 months from the day that my status changed to H1B. During these months I did a lot of interviews and got a lot of offers for companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Capital One, etc. Interestingly none of them... though that I can start working for them without leaving the US to get a visa. The Microsoft lawyer didn't even accept my case and told me to solve my issue by myself! Mr. Goeschl was hired by one of those companies and was able to get my H1B change of employer case approved without any RFE. I'm so grateful for his work and I highly recommend him especially for cases that others think is not possible!

The best of the best

Our company has worked with Malcolm Goeschl and the GLC team for nearly four years on all of our employment-based immigration needs. Malcolm and team have always provided top-tier service, taking the time to understand our particular needs and challenges, thinking outside the box to create solutions ...where solutions seemed out of reach, and walking us through each step with patience. One stand out case involved a critical SW Developer whose initial PERM application had been badly botched by a previous attorney, and who was therefore running out of time in H-1B status. Malcolm represented us in responding to the nasty audit on the pending PERM, and later filing a new PERM, which was approved without an audit. Thanks to the efficiency and knowledge of the GLC team, the employee was able to extend his H-1B status; he is now a permanent resident and a focused, committed member of our staff. I have referred countless people and companies to Goeschl Law Corp and would continue to do so in a heartbeat.

Incompetent, slow, underwhelming

My company hired Goeschl Law Corp to handle my H-1B and PERM immigration matters. For the H-1B, they dropped the ball on premium processing. This was problematic because my other work authorization was expiring, and by this point I was already out of the country. The matter was only resolved after m...ultiple phone calls. For the PERM, the attorney was exceptionally slow to respond to emails or questions, and dragged the I-140/485 filing process on for weeks after it should have been completed. Once my I-131 was denied, I sought council with her, but she declined to reply to my emails or phone calls for 3 weeks. Ultimately I sought outside council and filed the remainder of my forms without their assistance. This is entirely unacceptable. I would not recommend this law firm to handle your immigration matters if you value effective communication and efficacy

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
