As a Bay Area personal injury attorney, June’s dedication to her clients and her professionalism stem from the responsibility she feels when she is entrusted with her client’s only opportunity to secure his or her future. She feels the client’s case is the client’s only opportunity to be made whole, and her clients are depending on her to do it. June’s client-centered focus shines in every case she handles, whether she’s representing an injured person, or an employee who has been mistreated in the workplace.
June completed her private school education on the east coast graduating from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and Widener University School of Law in 1991 and 1995 respectively. She completed several internships, including one in the Maryland Governor’s Office, and another in the Appellate Division of the Maryland Attorney General’s Office. After law school, June relocated to San Francisco, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1997. She began her career doing insurance coverage litigation. In 1999, June joined the Rouda firm and has been representing plaintiffs for 12 years.
June’s practice focuses on personal injury, which includes premises liability, elder abuse and medical malpractice cases. She also has experience litigating employment discrimination cases, with a specific niche in disability discrimination claims and harassment, including wrongful termination of disabled workers, and medical leave issues related to employees with qualifying disabilities. June has experience with cases against both small and large corporate entities, each presenting unique challenges. In 2005, June successfully arbitrated a birth injury case involving wrongful death case against Kaiser. In 2010, June obtained a $2.1M settlement for her client who was injured by a defective seat in an automobile accident. She has further participated in numerous mediations and settlement conferences, aggressively litigating on the side of injured individuals.
