Jose Angel Cordova

I am a lawyer with a background that includes both litigation and in-house corporate experience. I initiated my legal career primarily as a commercial attorney servicing small technology companies in their start-up phase and gained experience in licensing, equity, leases, and a wide array of general procurement matters. More recently, I gained skills in the negotiation of complex SaaS and professional services agreements, and also gained exposure to HIPAA Covered Entity and Business Associate issues as they arise in cloud content storage and management. 

As a litigator, I have extensive experience in employment and business litigation, ranging from client counseling at the inception of a case to all phases of discovery, motion practice, court hearings, mediation, trial preparation and settlement. I have litigated wage and hour, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, national origin discrimination, breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty matters from state courts to the U.S. Supreme Court.

My wide range of experience makes me a unique lawyer, capable of addressing the complex issues that arise in a growing company. 

I am fluent in English and Spanish, and have working knowledge of English and Spanish legal and business terminology.

I am available for long and short-term engagements, full litigation matters or discrete projects basis.
