I appreciated my own documentation and experience being thoroughly vetted because once it is out there you want to be in the best position for your own case. This is powerful because the process can be emotionally difficult. For example, with my deposition, Vanessa not only helped me ahead of time understand what it was but met me at a local coffee shop beforehand to hang out with me before the deposition after herself driving more than 100 miles early in the morning to be there with me. Remember attorneys are also referred to as counsel. The word counsel means they give you advice and guidance.
