Biography
I have helped hundreds of small businesses and entrepreneurs register federal trademarks and protect their brands.
Along with my trademark work,I also frequently help draft and respond to cease and desist letters, social media take-down notices and DMCA take-down notices. I also have experience with copyright law, internet terms of service and privacy policies, as well with corporate formation and employment questions for small businesses and start-ups.
A native New Yorker who moved to the west coast after law school, I now lives in San Francisco. While in law school, I interned in the intellectual property/trademark department at Estee Lauder.
I enjoy meeting clients from all different industries and particuarly enjoy working with emerging companies, technology start-ups and social media companies. My husband has his own San Francisco startup, Storify, and our wedding was featured as a “social media” event in various press outlets.
