I recently went through a difficult divorce, and I hired Irene Gold Law to help me navigate this challenging process. I had high hopes that they would provide me with the necessary support and legal expertise to make this transition as smooth as possible. Unfortunately, my experience with this law fi...rm was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, Irene and Jessica Hawley (associate) were incredibly slow to respond to my calls and emails. It felt like I was constantly chasing after them just to get a simple update on the status of my case. Whenever I tried to reach out to Jessica or Irene, I'd get a promise that they'd call me back, but it rarely happened. I'd have to follow up with them 3-4 times before they would even answer, resulting in unnecessary delays that extended the divorce process by weeks. Furthermore, Irene seemed to be on vacation more often than not. Her frequent absences further hindered progress on my case, making an already difficult situation even more frustrating. This lack of responsiveness left me feeling frustrated, anxious, and completely unsupported during an already emotionally taxing period in my life. Instead of guiding me through the legal aspects of my divorce and addressing my concerns, Irene and Jessica seemed disinterested and unwilling to invest the necessary time and effort into my case. Their lack of empathy and understanding only added to my stress and anxiety, making the entire process even more overwhelming. I had hoped that hiring a legal professional would alleviate some of the burdens that come with divorce, but Irene and team did the exact opposite. Instead of making things easier, they made my life even more difficult. We had to resubmit my case 3x because the firm kept making mistakes in the submission. I couldn't trust their work, and I constantly questioned whether they knew what they were doing. I strongly advise anyone going through a divorce or any legal activities to avoid Irene Gold Law at all costs. Their slow, non-responsive, and unhelpful approach only made an already painful experience that much worse on top of the mistakes they made. I hope that others can learn from my unfortunate experience and find a more reliable and compassionate law firm to guide them through and of your proceedings.

Irene was hard to reach. Her staff was very sloppy and made many mistakes in my forms that I had to correct. They made me pay for the time and cost of fixing their mistakes. They didn't correctly serve the paper to the other party, and it cost me half a year of time before I switched to a new lawyer ...and had to start the process again from scratch. very disappointed

Avoid this lawyer! I hired Ms. Gold to draft a standard prenup, and throughout the process, she was slow, ignored my requests, lacked attention to detail, and billed sloppily. It took her over a month for the initial draft, and even then, the draft was clearly a standard template and lacked details w...e initially discussed. When I requested changes, it would take at least 2 emails to get a reply and the subsequent changes never fully addressed my concerns. She would leave sections incomplete or add new sections I never requested while ignoring the basic fixes I was requesting. This would require me to email her over and over again with the same concerns. Even though she consistently failed to address my concerns, she happily billed me for the changes I never requested. 3 months into the process, we still didn’t have an acceptable draft to share with my fiance’s lawyer. I ended up having to make changes to the draft myself since she consistently failed to address the issues or respond in a timely manner. In the end, for non-contentious negotiations with my fiance’s lawyer, she charged me ~5x more than my fiance’s lawyer charged. This was despite having legal insurance while my fiance didn’t. Like her work, her billing was also sloppy, and she billed me for all the changes I never requested and the mistakes she made.

Extremely happy with Irene and her team's services! She helped me with a complicated prenuptial agreement. All the work was done in a fast and efficient manner. My calls and emails were answered by Irene and her staff quickly. One cool thing that I have enjoyed is that Law Offices of Irene S. Gold is... using a client management portal - where I could log in any time at my convenience to check on the case progress, message Irene and her staff - and also to view and pay invoices. I was so worried this prenup would cost me a lot - because I do not have any experience working with lawyers - but, surprisingly, my final bill was very reasonable. I am now happily married and if I had to do it all over again - I would come back to Ms. Gold without any hesitation!

Irene is an excellent lawyer! She educated our newly formed family and helped us pick the best way to protect our properties.
