I had the worst experience working with Irene through my divorce. I felt like I spent an inordinate amount of money just for her to sign and file paperwork. I never felt truly represented by her when it came to financial and custody matters. In the end, she did not fight for equal or even fair custod...y and seemed unconcerned about what I wanted to achieve. In addition, she said my child support payments would be deductible, which I just found out are not. I would expect a family lawyer to know this information prior to sharing it with their client.
