Sarah Ann Cavassa

I worked with Sarah over the course of 2 1/2 years. Sarah believed in my case, worked hard to apply her knowledge of accounting and the law, and emerged victorious! I received a fair settlement in the range of my best case scenario. Sarah is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, has excellent communication skills, is firm and fair, has strong emotional intelligence and understanding of human behavior, and is kind and caring. I was so stressed out with the situation I was in when I found Justin O'Connell, his rate was among the high side, and not much advertisement on their law office, so I was hesitate at first. BUT after he called me in person, and he actually started taking care of my business matter without even ask me for any payment & he handled my business issues just like that. Since then I knew this is the attorney that I will hire. The staff work at this office are also very professional, considerate, and efficient. Joelle and Danny are the best assistants , every time when I email them, I also receive a same day response. Every time when I call, there's always someone there to answer my call. I first met Sarah when she worked as the legal assistant for my divorce attorney, then I hired her as my attorney for my spousal support settlement 2 years later. Background: I hired Sarah Cavassa of the Granberg Law Firm to represent me in a legal action involving my brother, the other party. My brother was unnecessarily delaying in selling a property we both owned at 50 percent each. Sarah's representation resulted in immediate action by my brother in getting him to come to terms with selling the property so we can both move on with our lives. Sarah represented me for approximately 8 months from April 2009 through November 2009. The services Sarah provided were: phone conferences, draft legal documents in preparation for court (in case we had to go), other legal documentation, court filings, emails from client, emails to client, phone calls to the other party's attorney, in-person meetings, legal review of real estate documents. Comments: Before I first met Sarah I spoke to her over the phone and she asked me to provide background documentation before our first meeting, which I did. At the first meeting Sarah was thoroughly familiar with all the case details having reviewed everything beforehand. Sarah gave me an excellent legal summary of my options and her recommendations, and she apprised me of any legal exceptions which were important for me to know about. Throughout her representation of me I was extremely impressed by Sarah's thoroughness, clarity, follow-up, articulate and expert legal knowledge, as well as her professionalism. In the meeting with my brother and his attorney she handled all the interactions with deftness and intelligence. Before the final legal bill was paid the house was sold in November 2009 at a satisfactory price and to the right buyer. Everything turned out perfectly in the end and Sarah's representation was key.

Stay away from Mrs. Cavassa specially regarding custody disputes. You will end up paying child support, alimony, all child expenses and sharing 50/50 custody which you would get anyway. You will pay her to misrepresent you and will learn her mistakes will be repairable when it comes to your child's custody. After U$ 15,000.00 I had to hire another attorney to revert other aspects that her misrepresentation had caused.
