Meaningful Legacy Law PC provides estate planning with heart—giving you and your loved ones true peace of mind. Attorney David W. Scopp brings over 20 years of legal experience, blending deep compassion with clear, practical guidance. His mission is to protect minor children, preserve meaningful legacies, and keep families out of court and conflict by creating plans that work when they’re needed most.
David graduated cum laude from law school, served as Editor-in-Chief of the law review, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers. He is currently training to become a Personal Family Lawyer®, using a unique, counseling-based approach to help you make empowered, informed decisions about your life, legacy, and loved ones.
Outside of work, David is a father, ocean swimmer, surfer, and nature lover. These experiences deepen my clarity and resilience—and inspire my practice. But what grounds me most is the life I share with my wife, our two sons, and our dog. Becoming a father changed everything. I now see planning as an act of love—not for yourself, but for the people we care about most. That’s who this work is really for. And knowing they’ll be supported brings peace.
