Ryan Patrick Murphy

Ryan was off the bat a relaxing calm to what I thought was going to be a whirl-wind storm of a process. Every court date I did not have to be present for he handled for me. He called me after every appearance even if it was just to let me know of a continuance. He fought for me like we were old pals.... His calming confidence really pits you at ease. His pricing was more than fair compared to the number of attorneys that were trying to charge me 7000+ in legal fees (one wasn't even in California and was still urging to take my case for 8000.00?!) In the end Ryan Saved me thousands of dollars and got my sentenced dropped from a misdemeanor 2nd Dui to a wet and reckless. My experience with Mr. Ryan during my trail has been superb. A few months ago was charged with a DUI. I got a DUI in Monterey County and was arrested and taken to jail. When I got out I thought it would be a good idea to get a lawyer and found Mr. Murphy online. I met with Mr. Murphy at his office and he explained to me what would happen and what he would do for me. He was very knowledgeable and I ...was confident he would help me out greatly (which he did). This was my second DUI as I had received one when I was 17. The court charged me with a second offense. I would have had to go to jail and pay a much larger fine. I blew over a .15 so would have had to take an 18 month class which is significantly more expensive than the three month class. I would also have to have an interlock device on my car (this has a montly fee). With his knowledge and expertice, Mr. Murphy was able to have this offense charged as my first. He saved me from having to do jail time and from paying a much larger fine. Along with getting the case reduced to my first offense, he was able to have the court charge me as if I had blown under a .15. This reduced the class legnth I would have to take from 18 months to three months. It also meant I would not need an interlock device on my car. This saved me not only lots of time but also lots of money. Not to mention, through all of this, I did not have to go to court once. When I got my first DUI I did not get a lawyer and was charged to the full extent of the law. After my experience with Mr. Murphy, I wish I had got a lawyer for that case also; it would have been great to have him represent me there too! Overall I recommend anyone who gets a DUI to get a laywer. Mr Murphy would be your best choice. His experience and care will surely save you time and money and make the experience an easier one for you.

Ryan Murphy is very good attorney. He is willing to go above and beyond what a normal DUI defense attorney would do for their clients. Ryan appeared on my behalf to try to negotiate a reckless driving plea bargain, and I even appeared multiple times with him. We met with three different Prosecutors a...nd it looked as though we were going to have to go to trial. Ryan went back in to the Judge’s chambers with one of the Prosecutors and was able to negotiate a reckless driving plea bargain. As high as my BAC was this was really the best outcome I could have hoped for. Ryan Really worked his magic in the Judge’s chambers and I guarantee no other DUI defense attorney would be willing to put in the time and effort that Ryan Murphy did for me. In addition to this huge win of negotiating a reckless driving plea bargain, I now have the opportunity to win the DMV hearing and not lose my license at all, which means I do not have to obtain an SR-22 and have huge car insurance premium increase. We are currently awaiting this DMV trial but I am confident in my chances to win as Ryan has all the angles covered. Take my advice, if you have a DUI charge call Ryan Murphy right away. The longer you wait to obtain competent defense counsel, the greater you are putting yourself at risk.
