If it weren’t for Jon, I’d probably be in prison right now. When I caught my case, I had initially hired a different lawyer who had practically done nothing to help me. I was arrested for felony charges of domestic violence, arson, and residential burglary against my ex-wife. I had never been arrested before so I didn’t know who to hire to represent me. It was important that I hired a good lawyer because my career was at stake. As a sergeant in the National G...uard, I would not only lose my job but my military pension too if I was convicted of any criminal offense. So, I asked my friend who is a Fresno lawyer for a recommendation. He highly recommended Mr. Renge. Based on my friend’s advice, I scheduled a consultation with Mr. Renge. He was honest and direct. With two felony cases, I thought that my military career was over, I would do a lot of time in prison, and have a number of “strikes” on my record. With the second felony case, we had to change our approach in court. Mr. Renge had a “Plan A” which was the best case scenario for me and a “Plan B” which was not as good but would keep me out of jail and save my job/pension. Well, he could not convince the DA and judge to go with “Plan A” but he did convince them to go with “Plan B”. Long story short, we were able to resolve the two cases without a plea of guilty/no-contest to any of the charges, no jail time and a dismissal of both felony cases if I attend counseling and do what the court wants me to do. My career and pension were saved. Hiring Mr. Renge was the best decision that I made to represent me.

This man is the true meaning of a Lawyer kept in touch with the family as well as the family member incarcerated . Does what many lawyers do not do and actually file 995 Motions which takes hours to do serious work .Real hard worker this Man don't sleep he's always working . Went through 2 different ...lawyers (1) out of Merced county and (1) out of Stanislaus county by far Mr.Renge was overall the best he puts his time and effort into the case . Showed the DAs office what great lack of evidence they had on the case leading to a dismissal Merced County DAs office could not determine this on their own instead they offered 25 years to life to get detainee to just take a deal as they do with all defendants .
