Our mission is this: To remove our clients from a difficult situation and place them confidently on a much better path. We want to replace hopelessness with realistic hope. Our clients will regain confidence that the future will be much better. In other words, we love to help people, and enjoy helping them achieve success!
Mr. Gist has worked to increase his clients' understanding of the very complex issues found in Bankruptcy Law. He does not believe in allowing non-professionals to do what an attorney should be doing. For that reason, Mr. Gist spends much time with his clients. He doesn't turn over his clients to a secretary or a paralegal to ask the very important questions. He does not give his clients a long questionaire to answer. He knows that his training as a Consumer and Bankruptcy Attorney has uniquely prepared him to be a very good advocate for those who need protection from creditors or for those who need to file Bankruptcy. Therefore, he prefers to know his clients very well by meeting with them personally. This increases his clients' comfort level and gives them confidence that their case will be handled professionally.
Mr. Gist only recommends that his clients file Bankruptcy if that is the best option for them. He offers a free, personal two hour consultation, and even provides clients with free forms that will help some of them avoid filing Bankruptcy. Since avoiding Bankruptcy is simply not possible for everyone, Mr. Gist knows that it is necessary to spend time with his clients, in order to assess what is best for each of them. Just as no two people are the same, he knows no two clients are alike. Mr Gist treats each client according to their own unique circumstances and needs.
The relationship between an attorney and his client is based upon mutual trust. Mr. Gist uses the free consultation to introduce himself thoroughly to his clients, to give them the confidence that they are choosing the right law office. He also assesses his prospective clients to determine whether they have any fears that need to be addressed. He wants his clients to walk out the door following their first meeting feeling as though they have been educated enough to make a proper decision and confident that with the help of the F. John Gist Law Offices, they will develop the right plan for a much brighter future.
