Bret Keith Grove

I hired Mr Grove for my WC case. He was recommended by a trusted source, but I didn’t know that he had basically retired (he doesn’t even live in the area his office is anymore) and has his office staff running things. When I have spoken to him (via phone or online only) he seems somewhat knowledgeab...le, and was probably a decent atty at one time, but the fact that he is so hands-off and hasn’t hired good people (they are at best inept and at worst incompetent and rude) to help in the office has made my case long, drawn out and more stressful. They, at one point, advised me to settle for 5 K. My settlement (because I chose to not give up and fight) is around 40K. Other than what I have listed, some specific examples are not advising me on settlement offers, not sending my medical reports to the proper doctor and not responding to my written and verbal requests regarding questions about my case etc. I wish I could go back and not hire this firm and I certainly don’t believe they have earned even 1% of my settlement. They have almost done nothing. WC is hard and can be complicated. Please find an attorney who isn’t retired, has hired excellent staff and who is hungry and cares for your case…this firm is NONE of these things.
