Robert Abrams - wills and trusts
I've known Bob for many years, primarily through the church we both attended; a church that Bob is an elected leader for today. He has become an instrument of wisdom and encouragement to the leadership of the church and to the people in his sphere of influence.
I came to Robert Abrams for his help in crafting my will. Coming to realize that I needed one after living for nearly five decades without it, Bob was not judgmental or condescending but gave me the professional courtesy I needed to complete the task. His help was greatly appreciated.
I refer others to Bob as I now work in an industry where discussions on distinctly personal financial matters bears the question, "do you have an up to date will or trust in place?" It gives me peace to know that these families can trust Bob's expertise as they experience his gracious approach in their lives.
Insensitive, uncaring, unprofessional
I had a phone consultation. Mr Abrams said I see you had an MSA in you divorces then states "What do you need me for then"? Later on he asked what my income was then say's "that's all you make"? He laughed when I told him I did not have an attorney during my divorce. He told me that I make bad decisions since I have had to file bankruptcy 8 years ago. I have never been spoke to by an attorney like this in my life!

I did have a phone conversation with this person as an accommodation to them and unfortunately was only able to tell them I did not practice in the area I believe they would need assistance. I would never tell somebody they make bad decisions nor laugh at them. I feel badly that this person feels they heard something that was not said and certainly never intended and I hope they are able to obtain assistance with their issue.
