Justin Nigel Vecchiarelli

I am recognized as a tenacious defender of my client’s rights that provides top shelf legal representation without the top shelf price. During law school I worked at the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office in the Consumer & Environmental Protection Division where I assisted in the prosecution of violations of California’s environmental protection laws and the laws regulating public advertising and unfair business practices. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office I worked as a Law Clerk for a real estate and business litigation firm for several years with a focus on real estate transactions, civil litigation, intellectual property, employment law, and business law.

After passing the California State Bar I was offered a position as an associate attorney at the law firm I was clerking for and began representing clients in areas of strategic entity formation, land acquisition, trademarks, contract negotiation, labor and employment, litigation, corporate dissolutions and business disputes.

In 2016 I took a position as an associate attorney at a boutique multi-state labor and employment law firm that specialized in counseling clients on labor and employment law matters and aggressively representing clients in litigation of employment law and business-related cases before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. At this law firm I represented clients in business disputes, class action lawsuits, employment actions and OSHA matters. In 2018, I was selected by his peers as a Northern California “Rising Star” as an Employment Litigation Attorney.

After working for several years with some of Fresno’s most experienced business and employment lawyers I felt it was the proper time to join Proper Defense Law Corporation’s and create its Civil Division by offering my experience and services to individuals and businesses.

I am dedicated to my profession and am constantly taking advantage of as many opportunities as possible to learn how to better advocate on behalf of my clients. I frequently attends seminars and lectures that are put on by some of the nation’s best attorneys and am an avid reader of books aimed at making me a better attorney.

In addition to my devotion to my career I am actively involved in the community through various organizations. For several years I served on the City of Fresno District 6 Plan Implementation Committee at the request of then councilman Lee Brand. In addition, I am heavily involved in the St. Agnes Men’s Club, Fresno County Women’s Lawyer Association and the Fresno County Bar Association.
