Excellent Attorney

Passing through a divorce or custody is extremely stressful. Having the right attorney during this time makes all the difference in the world. Choosing the right attorney is a challenge. I had two attorneys before I retained Amy. So, I did a lot of homework before I retained Amy. I read the rev...iews, talked to friends (one is a judge), and consulted with my son who is now in law school, first year. Reading the reviews left for Amy, you will see a common theme, she is incredibly ethical, professional and will not overcharge. I found this to be absolutely true. Amy will listen and respond to emails timely; It is not unusual to see emails coming from her over the weekend or past 10 pm. She is honest and will not over-promise. She will tell you her true opinion as it is with respect. She smells BS and is very persistent. In my case, my ex did not turn in a meaningful financial disclosure for years and her attorney will not respond to emails and missed court dates. Amy was very persistent and filed a motion for sanctions. Amy was able to get a meaningful financial disclosure and some money. With the lawyers I had before Amy, I felt that the objective was to overcharge and my best interest was not at heart. The charges from Amy were more than honest and fair and I felt that my best interest was at heart; no question. I would recommend Amy to anyone who needs an excellent family attorney. She is smart, clever, well-versed, honest, a true lady, articulate, a decent human being, and professional. My words cannot describe how much I admire her. Amy received a Rising Star award; my son told me this award is not easy to earn. She handled over 500 cases to resolution (per AVVO); this means she is efficient and reasonable; many attorneys endorsed her and attested to the same. If Amy is your attorney, you are in good hands and she has very professional staff. I do not typically write reviews. However, I left this review because I wanted to help others looking for an excellent attorney during a tough time and wanted to thank Amy for a job well done.

A complete waste of 2000

I am very disappointed with the service I was provided. I barely got to speak with Amy, even at the first court date. I was told if I try to fight my case i would most likely lose. So I had to settle to an order I didn’t agree to. I now have to take alcohol classes that is super expensive and I’m no ...where near a alcoholic. My ex was the one to file first and lied so much about me in his statement. Because of this I had to give my son back to my ex. I have been the one with my son every day taking care of him, now I only get 3 FaceTime calls and have to pay to see him. I sent in so much proof proving my ex is abusive and verbally abusive but I guess none of that was good enough to the courts. My ex had a better better lawyer and more money. I would have got the same results if I represented myself. I’m extremely disappointed. Also after my court date u reached out trying to get ahold of Amy. I was told through email I would need to pay an additional 1000. Absolutely disappointed

I completely disagree with this statement. I regularly made myself available to communicate with the client, including answering emails after hours and speaking with the client on my personal cell phone. Unfortunately the information the client provided regarding the other party did not bear out and the client was unwilling to take accountability for the results of her assessment by a neutral/licensed professional. I ultimately had to file a Motion to Withdraw because the client refused to communicate with my office or pay her bill.

Outstanding Attorney

I could not be more pleased with Amy’s representation in my Divorce. She and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I was in need of a non-biased attorney outside of Tulare County who was willing to represent me against an influential family. Amy exceeded my expectations.

Compassionate, knowledgeable, advocate

Alone. Terrified. Helpless. This was how I felt trying to get shared custody of my kids and going through my divorce until I was referred to Amy by my father. She's been such a strong advocate and advisor during my darkest of times and has helped me immensely. She's been incredibly patient with my le...gal naivety, and empathetic in my struggles. I am grateful to God for Amy's role in my divorce and custody. Besides her professional competency, she's genuinely a wonderful person with a very compassionate heart. I'd have no other represent me with any future legal needs.

On behalf of attorney Amy R. Lovegren-Tipton

I cannot imagine having a better advocate and being more professionally and skillfully represented than I was by my attorney, Amy Lovegren-Tipton. She not only conducted my affairs in a timely and professional manner, but did so with empathy and kindness that made it feel very personable and comforti...ng. Her fees were more than reasonable and she was very prompt in answering emails, patient in answering questions and sorting things out for me when I was feeling confused, and making me feel that my concerns equally weighted on her as well. I haven't had a lot of experience in the courts or with lawyers in general, and my friends have told me stories that lead me to believe this kind of experience is not the usual one people who unfortunately need a legal counsel walk away with. In some cases, I have heard it can be "nightmarish." So I am walking away very grateful that this was not the case with me. Far from it. I will have no problem whatsoever referring my friends to her in the future, for the very best in legal help. I would just add that if I could choose a word to best sum up Amy as a person it would be "humanity." In such a heart rending, difficult profession as that of being a "divorce lawyer" she has not lost her humanity. it remains intact and palpable throughout her dealings with her clients, who never stop being people to Amy. I will have difficulty ever forgetting Amy both as my attorney and advocate, and as a friend. Dr. F. Peter. B

"Ms. Tipton and I regularly have family law cases with one another. I have found her to be a zealous advocate for her clients, but still reasonable in her negotiations toward resolution thereby limiting the impact and emotional toll that such proceedings have upon a family. I would recommend Ms. Tipton to others, and look forward to working with her further in the future."
