I was only married for one year and filing for divorce. After $13,000 I had to terminate Valarie Hosford and nothing has been done on my divorce. I am now representing myself as I can no longer afford an attorney. She also filed for spouses support for me and failed to advise the court that I was ...losing my unemployment within 2 months and didn't get me compensated for this loss. She said she forgot that I was lossing unemployment and we would have to go back to court.. Another $3,000 appx. Her error not mine but she didn't make it good. Lots of your $ will go to her making phone calls and sending emails. VERY DISAPPOINTED and I still need to finalize my divorce.

I'm in serious debt because of this attorney. If you are taken in by her smiling, breezy attitude beware of their crazy disregard for explanations when a client is confused. Sitting in the waiting area or having coffee around the corner can be very enlightening. When a parent is distraught because ...CA's Family Law system can remove a child from the home without even VISITING the other parent, it should be Family Lawlessness. Thousands of dollars later and I STILL haven't seen the JUDGE only the attorneys can meet with her.
