am an Irish national who came to the US under the Visa Waiver Program to visit my US Citizen partner . We subsequently married and applied to adjust my status to that of a permanent resident. In April 2013 Immigration denied my cousin her application to become a permanent resident. In May 2013 we hired her to help with the appeal. Six months later my cousin's appeal was approved and she received her permanent resident card in the mail on December 26, 2013! We were so surprised that... Immigration waived the interview !!
