Ira Lemuel Stoker

Incompetent attorney that doesn’t fight for you. He creates court dates then is not prepared to argue your case, loses focus, doesn’t have a plan to win and takes your money. Unprofessional.. he does not answer questions or return emails or calls. His wife is his secretary and legal assistant tha...t also will not call you back and makes you feel like your an imposition and wasting her time.. Both should retire and stop pretending to practice law!

I have a friend who has hired this idiot and she is no further ahead on her case than when it started. They just asked her for $10k more to proceed on her case; however, she has NEVER received one statement from their office to account for their time. He took no notes the time I was with her and then... she has to keep sending the same paperwork over and over. Very disorganized and unprofessional. I'm surprised that the judges allow him to keep asking for continuance after continuance. He told her not to go to the very first court appearance and was completed surprised that she showed up. Our guess is that he was going to say 'the judge continued the case' if she didn't show up!

This man promised to get me more custody on the first court date and even more custody over six months. We went to court only one time and nothing changed except for a little more holiday time that the other party asked for. They told me to be at there office with some paperwork when they opened and ...when I got there I waited for over an hour before they called me and told me to leave it in the mailbox. He never even brought it to court or even looked at it. It has been two months and he still has not filed the paperwork for after the hearing. He has been disciplined by the bar for previous cases and I am personally writing the bar so that this man has to answer for his actions. I have called several times since then and no one has ever called me back. If you hire him he will tell you whatever you want to hear then just steal your money!

Excellent lawyer! Ira is a pit bull. He is aggressive and honest. Ira won our termination of parental rights and adoption. We will always be extremely grateful. Ira was there every step of the way with us during the toughest time in our lives. He saved our grandson's life. I have referred Ira Stoker ...to our friends and he won there case also.

I have no respect for Ira as a lawyer. I would have done better myself. He has a lazy office that is hard to get a hold of. They are very nice upfront and act as if they care, but they really dont. I met with Ira for 2 1/2 hours. He didn't note down anything I said. He didnt even prepare the response... in time where the judge didn't recieve it(which is very important). He served my baby's father the day we were in court and the whole response was a lie. He lost my case against my baby's father who didn't even have a lawyer, but that's what you get with lazy.
