Incompetent attorney that doesn’t fight for you. He creates court dates then is not prepared to argue your case, loses focus, doesn’t have a plan to win and takes your money. Unprofessional.. he does not answer questions or return emails or calls. His wife is his secretary and legal assistant tha...t also will not call you back and makes you feel like your an imposition and wasting her time.. Both should retire and stop pretending to practice law!

I have a friend who has hired this idiot and she is no further ahead on her case than when it started. They just asked her for $10k more to proceed on her case; however, she has NEVER received one statement from their office to account for their time. He took no notes the time I was with her and then... she has to keep sending the same paperwork over and over. Very disorganized and unprofessional. I'm surprised that the judges allow him to keep asking for continuance after continuance. He told her not to go to the very first court appearance and was completed surprised that she showed up. Our guess is that he was going to say 'the judge continued the case' if she didn't show up!

Beware! Took 4 years of this man and the other lawyer (maybe a very good friend of his? Conflict of interest?) constantly continuing my case, which and they never could resolve it. Once I figured out Stoker was not on my side I fired him after trying to discuss it with him. It felt like I was talki...ng to a 2 year old... I got a new lawyer who basically did the job for Stoker AND the opposing lawyer. Stoker was overcharged for everything, (example: $30 for a ONE (1)-page fax) including $400 every time he got the judge to continue. He said, "SOMEbody has to pay for it!" After I received the bill he was lucky I paid half. He never asked for the rest. He and the other lawyer KNEW then and they know today, how to overcharge clients, waste the court time, the Judge's time, my time, the other party's time. Not to mention the time of all the others who were waiting for their own cases to be called!! Ira Stoker is a lying, unprofessional, unethical, dishonest, greedy lawyer. The definition of 'incompetence' and he needs to be disbarred! I will never, ever recommend this man to anyone. And if he gets on here and denies that this is his client review board, just know that he is still lying.

Near impossible to communicate with him or his office. Never return phone calls or emails. Poorly prepared for court and doesn't follow through with the plans as discussed. Tremendous waste of time and money. Repeatedly asked him not to agree to continuances and he continued my case for years. Wish I... had never hired his office. It has been nearly 6 years and my case is no further along than it was in the beginning, however I am dealing with increased consequences as a result of his incompetence.
