We hired Richard Barron to assist us on a matter involving a dispute among trustees of a living trust. Richard immediately recognized the issues and came up with a game plan to resolve the matter. The other party had a lawyer who prepared pleadings filled with falsehoods. Mr. Barron nailed the other side during deposition getting them to admit that they had not even read the declaration and pleadings prepared by their lawyer, catching that other lawyer red faced as his lies were found out. The other lawyer and his clients conceded the matter and the trust issues were resolved in our favor. I highly recommend Mr. Barron. He is thorough, complete, extremely knowledgeable and practical, as well as an exceptional strategist during deposition and litigation. He knows how to handle opposing attorneys and keep matters from needlessly escalating, saving his clients substantial sums.

Several months ago it became apparent that I would need a new Lawyer who would live in Visalia and would also make court appearances relating to trust matters. I was given Richard Barron’s name and decided to interview him for my legal needs.
The first requirement I had was his location in Visalia and his willingness to make a court appearance for this matter. I also explained that the trust matter had been going on for five years and the Court had ruled on the asset distribution one year ago. All of my concerns had been discussed many times with all of the affected people in the trust. He said he understood my request and wanted to act as my Lawyer.
The outstanding features of the final court ruling are. 1. No stock distribution. 2. No Carve out Schedule showing income and expenses for Real property and land held in partnership with the deceased two children. 3. No receipts for late tax fees that where to be paid by deceased son. 4. No accounting records after major change of September 2015.
The legal activities Richard did are 1. Read court ruling. 2. Sent letter to affected parties showing above. 3. Created a conference call with most of the affected parties (not trustee) which lasted 27 minutes and accomplished nothing as in the past.
After a month I emailed my concerns about no progress. There was no response. This process was repeated with more emails, phone messages and text messages. There was no Response. At the two month mark I was able to able to talk on the phone with Richard for less than 8-minutes. I explained my concern about the lack of progress, large billing and no response to my emails. At that time he stated he only would be doing the one conference call. After I reminded him of our previous conversation about a court appearance he advised me he does not make court appearances and he quit representing me.
In summation I feel there was no service provided as what he covered had been fully discussed many times in the past. I feel his main goal was to run up the bill without doing any work. I am not happy with his service at all.

Mr. Barron has been our primary attorney for trusts and conservatorships involving probate matters for our clients. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, ethical and responsive in all matters. Our firm has peace of mind knowing that he is there to protect our actions and advise us in any matters brought to him for review, or matters he feels it would be important for us to be aware of or consider. He not only puts our interests first but as importantly he looks out for our clients best interests.

I have known and opposed Mr. Barron on a variety of civil litigation cases for over twenty five (25) years. He is dedicated, knowledgeable and a skilled advocate. His honor and integrity is without question. I strongly endorse Mr. Barron as a zealous advocate for his clients.
