John took my case and did an exceptional job. Very professional and educated. Always kept me informed of the possibilities and requirements. I got into a fight leaving a bar and was arrested. I had 2 felonys that John got dropped to misdemeanors due to the police report and video footage discrepan...cies. He did very thorough investigation with his private investigator and got my charges reduced substantially. I am very happy with the outcome of my trial and as well with the great lawyer skills of John Patrick Ryan. Worth every legal fee.

We hired John Patrick Ryan to obtain custody of my children. We paid him about $6000 to represent us and get the mentally unstable mother of my children to court. With every court date we were disappointed to find out that the mother had not been served and therefore did not show up to court. With ea...ch of these disappointments came more demands of money, and more promises of how the court would hold the mother in contempt of court if she did not show. We were promised that the last time... when we attempted only simple visitation of my children, that if she did not show, I would be granted full custody of my children. There were so many empty promises made and yet nothing was accomplished. Of course, then came more demands for more money. This attorney drained us. we lost our home and had to relocate with family, trying to just see my children again and were left with nothing to show for it but a drained bank account. If we can find a way to redeem ourselves from this, we will be seeking action against this man. Not only did he take our money, but continuously fed a desperate father false hopes of being reunited with his children. The previous reviews prove that he is obviously a good attorney to go to if you are in a bind over a dwi or other crime related case, but I would not recommend going to him for custody, visitation, or family matters as he obviously lacks compassion and cares much about the profit.

So far, anyway since this is actually putting the cart before the horse so to speak. If it was me in this matter and I expressed this attorney to a friend of mine. That had asked me to research Attorney's in this area of California and if was up to me personally. Mr. Ryan would have been the likely c...andidate for me and for my friend that is at this point going to let the cards fall where they may is what I understand. To the review at this point I was impressed as to Mr. Ryan getting in touch with me so quickly and the knowledge of the charge my friend has against him. If it looks like he will need an attorney after court on Monday Dec 1, 2014. I do believe he will be contacting Mr. Ryan for his services.
