Matt Da Vega - Aggressive, Knowledgeable, Personable

I consulted Matt Da Vega for advice in regards to a wage dispute with a former employee. He is an unusually personable and receptive lawyer- he carefully listened to my story and established rapport by remaining non-judgmental, calm, supportive and constructive. His approach to solving my problem was... clear, aggressive, and direct, unlike many of the other attorneys I had consulted with previously, which pleased me tremendously. After hiring him, we had no regrets. He took control of the matter and it was resolved within weeks, both sides satisfied. He's a real gem. Best of all you can tell the guy is a good person. I highly recommend him for all employee issues big or small. I couldn't have found a better attorney.

Knowledgeable lawyer and a good person

Most of the lawyers I have dealt with (and I've dealt with my fair share) were lawyers (good/bad), but I can't say they were "good people". Matt is a great lawyer, very knowledgeable and very thorough, and he's a great person. When dealing with him, I felt like he was truly trying to help me, not get... money from me but to help me. You really need that in an employment case. My case was hard (Because half of it was gone due to statute of limitations), but he listened to me, and tried to find a way to make it work. Matthew and his team had excellent response time, they were available to me (and worked on my case in the evenings and on weekends) which was very shocking to me because I've known more than a handful of attorneys and none of them would work around the clock for you. So far their expertise has been 100% straight on. So I have to say, thank you very much you guys are the best, and I really recommend your services.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
