I contacted the law office of Nicolas Vrataric when the lawyer I had been working with suddenly left her firm with no notice to her clients. After speaking to another lawyer in that firm I realized they really knew nothing about my case.. so I decided to explore my options. When I called Nico's offic...e I was greeted by his friendly, compassionate assistant.(I was terminated when I told upper management that I needed another round of radiation for my cancer treatment.) We were not able to resolve the matter in mediation so my former employer requested one more round to see if we could keep this out of court, which Nico agreed to. But he made it quite clear to them that they had better be better prepared for us to go back again. During the second mediation Nico was able to get a great settlement, which at first I didn't think was enough for all of the turmoil this company had caused me. After we got the offer Nico and I discussed the benefits of taking the settlement and what could happen if we decided to decline and go to trial, so I decided that I was not emotionally ready to face the stress of a trial. Once the settlement was agreed upon Nico was able to collect payment within a week. Nico was there for me during this very difficult time of my life, he counseled me and made sure I was prepared for each mediation and he never backed down to the big corporate law firm we were dealing with. I have recommended Nico to two of my friends already and I will absolutely keep sending him clients. Nico has this ability to make you feel as if you are his only client, and I must say that Nico is somebody you absolutely want on your side!

Nicolas was the only lawyer I found that believed in my case and was willing to help me fight my former employer. After my initial consultation, he determined that in addition to age discrimination and wrongful termination, I was also misclassified as an exempt employee and I was therefore owed 4 ye...ars of back wages for overtime.
