Biography
Juan Carlos Moran is a highly skilled family law attorney fluent in Spanish, specializing in child custody, divorce, fathers' rights, and domestic violence cases. With a compassionate and strategic approach, he helps clients navigate complex legal matters with confidence and clarity.
Mr. Moran earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Spanish minor from UCLA, followed by a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School. He further enhanced his expertise with a Business Law Certificate from USC Gould School of Law and is currently a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) at the European Graduate School. Since joining the State Bar of California in 2015, he has built a reputation as a zealous advocate, earning honors such as the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services and the Chancellor’s Blue and Gold Scholarship. His public speaking talent was recognized with the 10th Place Speaker Award among over 1,000 participants.
A dedicated educator, Mr. Moran has taught at the People's College of Law in Los Angeles and served as a San Fernando Valley Bar Association Family Law Public Interest Fellow. His leadership roles include President of the International Law Society and Treasurer of the Los Angeles Public Interest Law Journal.
Mr. Moran is deeply committed to community service and fathers' rights. He volunteered at the Inglewood Courthouse’s Self-Help Center and coached debate for the Los Angeles Urban Debate League and Alta Loma School District. To strengthen his Spanish fluency, he studied at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
