Nicole Lynn McGuire

Nicole L. McGuire is a family law attorney dedicated to providing sophisticated, compassionate representation to high net-worth individuals, business owners, and entrepreneurs facing some of life's most significant transitions. Nicole's family law practice is broad in scope and deep in expertise. Nicole also brings considerable skill to the drafting and negotiation of premarital, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements — work she approaches with both precision and sensitivity, recognizing that the best agreements are those that protect her clients while honoring the relationships that matter most to them. Nicole passed the Certified Family Law Specialist examination in October 2023 and is currently pursuing that designation, reflecting her ongoing commitment to mastery of her craft.

Prior to focusing her practice on family law, Nicole developed an extensive foundation in taxation and estate planning, counseling individuals and families on income, estate, and gift tax strategies, business succession planning, and family office matters. Her experience also includes mergers and acquisitions tax work across domestic and cross-border transactions. Today, Nicole draws directly on that background to provide family law clients — particularly those with complex financial profiles — with a level of strategic insight that goes well beyond what most family law practitioners can offer.

Nicole received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2013, graduating in the top 25% of her class and earning a Corporate Law Concentration with Honors. She subsequently earned her Master of Laws in Taxation from New York University in 2014, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, awarded in 2010. Nicole is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. When she steps away from the office, she can be found on the soccer field or tennis court, on the trails with her dog, out on the water paddleboarding, or exploring new destinations abroad.
