Ranojoy grew up in Orange County and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles as a National Merit Scholar with a B.A. in Political Science in 2008. After college, Ranojoy worked as a SAT I and II tutor for several national and local companies before the entrepreneurial spirit led him to start and operate his own tutoring business for several years. Ranojoy also spent several years playing No-limit Texas Hold-em professionally full time before returning to study law at Rutgers University in 2013.

After law school, Ranojoy worked as staff attorney and labor rights analyst at the Fair Food Standards Council (FFSC), an investigatory body that monitors the working conditions of over 35,000 agricultural workers at the largest agribusiness operations on the east coast. At FFSC, Ranojoy worked to investigate and resolve worker complaints involving wage and hour, health and safety, discrimination, and harassment violations. Ranojoy is no stranger to working late nights, but in his spare time he also loves to play basketball, hit the beach, and explore the endless natural beauty of the Southern California landscape.
