Matthew Miller rescued me from greedy divorce attorneys

Have been through the mill with divorce attorneys, five of them and over $100,0000 in legal fees and almost 2 years in court before I found the Miller Family Law Group. Matthew Miller was able to get my case on track, get things in order, utilize the law on behalf of my son to get 2% custody (can yo...u believe?) turned to 46% custody. The Family Law Court is such a dens of thieves with attorneys playing divorce games, threatened restraining orders, filing phony police reports, etc. Matthew Miller turned all this around. No games, just the law. Matthew and Evelina work tirelessly, even in the late hours, and they've had to work with a frustrated dad. Matthew Miller practices law like it should be practiced. He won't throw tomatoes for you. He will just get what needs to be done, done. And out of the six attorneys I've hired, his fees were the most reasonable!

My First/Only Choice

When I first retained Mr. Miller 8 years ago for my divorce and ugly child custody matter, I was especially concerned with his youthful, boy-next-door appearance. I wasn't sure he would be tough enough for the battlefield. I quickly learned Matthew is more than capable. Not only does he know the l...aw, but he understands the politics and procedures of how these things work. He knew when to sit back and when to stand up. His advice to me was spot-on and results were even better than I expected. Several years later when I needed his services again, he again did a fantastic job for me and my family. Together with his wife/partner Evelina, the Miller Family Law Group has been nothing but professional and effective. They've both always been accessible and totally available whenever I've had questions and have explained every process to me fully and respectfully. Most importantly, I completely trust Matthew. He has represented me, advised me and fought for me. These types of matters are so difficult and emotional you need someone who is looking out for your best interests. It's been many years but I continue to be immensely grateful for Mr. Miller's service. I highly recommend Matthew Miller as a family law attorney.

True Blessing

I was referred to Matthew and Evelina Miller by my aunt who had their help with her divorce. Needless to say that the custody battle I was going to be dealing with for my child was traumatic enough I was scared of what could have happened had I not had the RIGHT people on the case. I was contacte...d on a Friday afternoon that I was to appear in court that following Monday. I had no idea where I was going to find anyone to represent me on a Friday afternoon for a case on Monday morning. I had called the office of the Miller Family Law Group and spoke with Evelina who meet with me immediately and later had met Matthew. Both were attentive and explained to me the good and bad that could happen. They prepared me with examples of other cases that were similar to mine. The entire process was obviously overwhelming, especially when it comes to children being involved, but they handled my case with a lot of care and concern. I never once not had communication with them. They have always responded to all emails and calls, and have given me the information that I needed. They stayed after hours to help me with this issue and worked diligently to get all the paperwork done for Monday. Their work ethic and professionalism is unlike others I have met practicing family law. I had been represented by this group since 2011 and have referred other friends to them because they are not just good at what they do, but are considerate, care for their clients, follow-up even after the case is over just to check-in and make sure things are still good. My daughter (who was a baby when everything first happened) loves them. She knows that they have always helped mommy with any issues that may still come up. I to this day still refer anyone that may need any help with any issues regarding family law. I can still shoot them an email if I have any questions and will get a response by the end of that business day. They continue to be supportive and attentive to all of their clients past or present.

Quite disapointed

Matt Miller and his wife/partner Evalina were used for my divorce/ child custody case. Horrific service. Promised the world and delivered nothing. Had to fight with him on every issue. Including the dividing of the assets, his lack of work, and his lack of ever returning my phone call or email person...ally and sending me to his wife to answer questions. A few times his wife told me to do specific things, and then he said "I don't know why you did that"..... Well, because "Evelina told me to do that, or I wouldn't have done that." Nothing was ever divided in my case as the property issue kept getting kicked down to a later date meaning more money for him for each appearance and filing. He wanted me to accept much less because that's what opposing council wanted and he never wanted to fight for my case and argue. I had to do my own work on it and got no where trying to negotiate with my ex who is impossible. Lost a good amount of time, sanity, and money dealing with issues. Mr Miller has a temper. He got upset with me and talked down to me, when we didn't see eye to eye. But what does he expect when it's your money he is losing in court. He charged me for everything. Even issues that were because of his own doing or lack of handling them in court. We then would have to go back again to court and charge me more money. He even refused to do any additional work in the middle of a horrible child custody trial, unless I gave him additional funds leaving. This left me in a horrible bind and the anxiety of possibly losing my children. During a custody trial, he did a poor job in court and did not argue well. He would make his argument, let opposing counsel question, and then say "no further questions." He never called out my ex during cross examined when clearly, he was lying and we had solid substantial evidence /proof of it. He did not object when he should have. His arguments were weak and he did not drive in the issues at hand. He was reactionary which left us always on the defensive. In the end, he wanted to charge me for my file. This was after I lost custody of my children. He was so quick to tell me I needed to pay for the services (or lack there of) or I would be charged interest and that they would come after me. They have continued to harass me with bills and nasty emails.
