Michael B Efron

I hired Mr. Efron as an Divorce attorney, and he was an absolute nightmare, he would charge me for speaking to me about the bill, as he always overcharged me, and he cancelled hearings on me because he was too busy. He charged me upwards of 20k and he did zero for me. He would never get back to me ei...ther, I would have leave 10 voicemails and 20 emails for him to get back to me, he said he was too busy always. The worst of all, he totally abandoned my case, he gaslighted me by saying he would help me out by subing him out and sub him back in on April when I had a hearing, when I called to sub him back in, he said sorry he was too busy, and that he advises me to get another attorney, what kind of human being does this, after he subbed me out, he proceeds to charge my credit card $400 for giving me my file...wow!! I have filed a complaint with the Ca Bar Association. This guy is a thief and fraud, BEWARE!!

Me Effron was hard working and effective in a very difficult child support case. He knew exactly what motions to file and always communicated with me and kept me up to date on all aspects. If you have any family court issues , especially with child support, I highly recommend Mr Effron. Any other law...yer would have thrown in the towel with my case but we actually came out with a great settlement. Very professional and his staff was also very effective and they know what they are doing. Calls/emails always returned in a timely manner and I know this is rare.

I live in Utah, I had never met Michael I got his name through my work law program that I had joined. I was married for 31 years and my ex husband was taking me back to court to try to stop my alimony. My court date was on a Monday and I arrived in California on Friday morning Michael made arrangem...ents to meet with me that afternoon, and he spent hours with me when I got there by the time we were done talking he calmed my nerves down. When he listened to me and I realized that he had read everything he could find about our case and everything I wrote him via email (which was a lot because I wanted him to understand what had gone on in the last 15 years since our divorce. ) I had told him on one of my emails how nervous I was and he wrote me back and told me he understood nervous and it was ok. When I would email him I would get an answer before the days end most of the time or it would be in my email by the next morning sometime looking at the time he sent it it was the middle of the night. He was right there for me on Monday morning, he worked hard with my ex husbands lawyer to bring us together and settle our negotiations between the two of us. He helped me through a rough time and because of him I can now heal from a long hard ordeal with my ex husband. Thank you Michael for all you did for me and for being right there when I needed you. I feel like I not only have a great lawyer if I ever need him who really cares .. but I have found a very good friend as well .. too..
