Very helpful and reasonably priced

We used Andrew for our EB-3 Green Card application. He helped us every step of the way and answered all of your questions before submitting our application to immigration. We were very happy with his service and would recommend him to others and will definitely use him again for our citizenship ap...plication.

The worst

He is the worst immigration lawyer ever it took him 7 years for him to do his job it got to the point where they were going to cancel the visa because they didn’t here from him and we had to pay for the application again not only that but he stopped answering our calls and left my husband in Mexico b...ecause of him

Very unsatisfied

I hired this lawyer because In the past he helped out my wife’s parents with some stuff and even though they advised me he takes his time I decided to hire him and legalize my parents. He asked for money and I gave him $1000 to start with, he asked me for lots of different documents and I provided ev...ery single one, afterwards I tried calling, and calling and calling and he was never available, always leaving messages with no response nor call back. Finally we decided to hire somebody else and helped us resolve everything and half the time. I also called his secretary asking for a refund and all she said she would have him call back but of course it never happened.

As you posted this review as anonymous, I do not know if you are an actual client or not. I am not aware of any case I have been hired to do where parents were able to legalize and we failed to finish the process. There is no reason to remain anonymous on this website.

Do not recommend

Driggs was recommended to us by a notary he worked with. At the beginning he was good, very enthusiastic about taking our case. Everything was going well until we paid him off to finish up the process. Several months passed and we did get any updates. We began calling to ask for updates and he was "n...ever" in or was "busy". One day I got upset and and told his secretary off because he was "never in" the office and a minute after I clicked Driggs returned my call within only to tell me nothing, "everything was still pending". After almost a year, we decided to see another lawyer. She confronted Driggs and confirm he didn't do much. Thankfully, our case is closing successfully with the new lawyer we hired. We heard many great things of Andrew thats why we decided to hire him but the outcome, with us, was not successful. He is very calm, works at his pace, doesn't call to give updates, hides from his clients to avoid being confronted and of course when we asked for a refund (because he didn't do anything) he refused.

Filing a Civil Action against Andrew Driggs for Breach of Contract

I am in the process of filing a Civil Action Lawsuit against Andrew Driggs. I retained Andrew Driggs to assist with getting a I-30 Petition filed and ultimately approved. The case was difficult so we agreed to pay him 3 times more than other Immigration Attorneys. When I initially retained him and ...asked him when will I get an update on the strategy, legal research and steps he will be taking in order to secure that the I-30 Petition will be approved. Months later I never received ANY strategy or legal documentation from him showing me that he was actually working on the case. Instead, he stated that its a bad time, because he's studying for the California State Bar Exam. We did not pay him a partial payment of $3,500 to study for his bar exam. I will be suing him to the full extent of the law.

Eva, I am sorry that you felt the need to post this review. However, your review is not honest. First, this case is for your brother, not you. Second, the fee I charged for this particular case is not more than good immigration attorneys charge because it is an extraordinary amount of work. I told you that this was the same fee I just charged another person in your brother's same position. Third, I was not being paid to give you strategy updates. In our initial three meetings (!) I laid out exactly what the strategy was and that I needed to speak to your brother when he came to the United States. We set an appointment, but you unilaterally changed it to a different day when I was actually taking the bar exam (not studying) in California (as you know I am already licensed in Nevada and therefore qualified to practice immigration law in any state) because your brother's schedule had changed. There was no breach of contract and I have contacted him to sort this out and while you claim to have power of attorney from him, when you made this adversarial, I asked for the executed power of attorney, and you have not sent it to me--making me unsure that you are telling me the truth. During my studying for the bar, I maintained my practice and had several significant approvals of visa applications and court cases. However, because I was unavailable on a day that I told you I would be unavailable, you claim breach of contract when there was never any breach. I hope to continue with your brother's case, but since you have proven to be unreasonable, I will not be working with you.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
