I can’t say enough about how wonderful Core Law group is from each and every person on the team. I was blessed to have Simon Budwhani and Marissa Oxman as my legal counsel. They are a fantastic team and did wonders for my case. My divorce took nearly 5 years from start to finish. In the infancy stage...s of my case, I had a couple of different attorneys represent me prior to Simon and Marissa. I found Simon through a friend who had wonderful things to say about his work ethic and experience. Simon far exceeded that expectation in which Inhad hoped to receive. Simon decoded to team up worn Marissa on my case however, Marissa spent the majority of the time working the day to day of my case. She was forced to deal with a very challenging opposing counsel that my ex-husband had retained. Despite the challenging attorney and a difficult case in general, Simon and Marissa got me sole legal custody, an out of state move away and they settled my case when tensions were high and emotions were higher. Their team effort were proven in court and I can say they were leaps and bounds better then opposing counsel. They always acted in an extremely professional manner and it came by them naturally. The trial prep performed by the Core Law team was phenomenal! More importantly, they were detailed and thorough not just during trial but for the entire 3 years I’ve retained them as my counsel. I witnessed many attorneys through the life of my case and it amazes me how many show up unprepared or lacking experience. Don’t waste your time or money going anywhere else. You’re money will be well spent on a class act team of legal counsel at Core Law, I can promise you that!

I was in desperate need of a family law attorney who would take the time to give me genuine legal advice for my delicate situation and that's exactly what Mr. Budhwani did. Very friendly, will say what he needs to in order to get the client and then he drops the ball. After meeting with Simon, I was passed to a less experienced attorney who Core fed to the wolves. All the insight they gave her to fight my case was inaccurate. Core miscalculated the judge. Core miscalcul...ated the opposing counsel. Both of those actions created a very expensive drawn out divorce for me(which by the way is still ongoing). Then there was a light at the end of the tunnel – a default judgment. That too was ruined by Core. The opposing counsel did NOT provide all of the required documents. Simon took the matter off calendar which cost me the default judgment. Instead, Core felt it was best to go back to court (another $5k+) and hope it gets settled there. Core had the opportunity to finalize the divorce and they chose not to. Speaking of money – the fees are outrageous and never ending. Expect to pay for their court parking despite their office being across the street. Not only are they charging you hundreds of dollars an hour to sit and wait to argue your case – you too have to pay for their parking. Court prep plus four hours in court (which includes waiting to be seen by the judge) is an easy $5k. If your ex decides to randomly show up and chit chat with them for an hour – you will be billed for that too. Then you will be billed for when they call you to explain how your ex tried to get free legal advice. If my case had progressed I wouldn't be irritated at the fees. However it has been over two years and I am still not a day closer to finalizing my divorce. It took Core two years to get my ex to turn in the preliminary documents. Then countless hours were spent on preparing and arguing for the default judgment. All of that for nothing as Core decided – without consulting me – that the default would be removed from calendar. Spending another day in court is great for Core, but not for me.
