Mr. Godwin was incredible with me. He was insightful, and provided the most transparent guidance. I had a very difficult case (even for a first DUI), and he didn’t mince words during our initial consultation, and was very honest about the entire process. He didn’t over-promise and was very clear abou...t how things could turn out. Even when things were looking grim he kept a positive tone and helped me approach my defense realistically, keeping me accountable and giving me all the pointers he knew would help me put a better foot forward for the court. If I fell short on his expectations and made his job of defending me harder, he would make it very clear to me, but would give me advise on how to turn things around and do better for future hearings. My case took longer to settle because of me, and I have no doubt it would have moved faster if I had listened to his advice from day one. Even so, he got me a great deal, and I went on to hire him for additional needs and will be using him on my motion for expungement. He’s a great person who truly cares and becomes personally invested in his clients. I see a genuine desire to help in his eyes. I can’t thank him enough for everything he’s done.
