Mr. Brower and his team have worked with our family on three separate incidents and have received outstanding counsel, great support and extraordinary results. The team thrives to be responsive, complete and clear about the charges, their strategy, the process and potential conclusions. In all of our cases, patience played an important role in allowing the matters to work through the system. We were kept apprised on every step of the way and the results were favorable in all matters. One element of working with Mr. Brower and team is their compassion for the situation and willingness to provide information from various agencies in terms of any help which may be needed by a client. During the stressful times of trying to get help, they are well connected with many support groups and are willing to help direct you to the right one. Overall, Mr. Brower has developed a terrific team of people who truly car about helping you try to get the best outcome in your situation. I highly recommend them!

In my personal opinion, Hiring Ronald Brower was the worst mistake of my life and it cost me over $30,000 and 11 years of my life.
In 2003, I was accused of taking somebody's cell phone while brandishing a firearm. Though originally arrested in L.A. Co., after operating a motorcycle I was not licensed for, the alleged robbery took place in Orange County weeks prior. In L.A. I faced a 2800.2(a) charge from the motorcycle incident.
For two years my family and I had asked Brower to request a bail reduction.. He would often say that the case was almost completed. While showing up for just a fraction of my monthly hearings in person (he sent fill-ins) Ron repeatedly told my loved-ones that there was no good reason for me to bail out and/or the judge would not allow it.
After paying him $25,000, his office repeatedly denied my collect calls and when they accepted them, would not allow me to talk with Mr. Brower. Only two phone calls were accepted by his office in which I was actually able to speak to Ron--in two years!
With the $$ safe in his hands, Mr. Brower, waived my right for a pre-trial yet dragged my jail court appearances on for 2 years, he only visited me twice, before trial! Ron never let me review my own police report! I had to wait until trial to snatch it. Only then did I see it!!! He even told my mom not to send it to me! Only once, at court, did he respond to any of my countless letters. Due largely to the stress he caused me, I sought mental health counseling.
In trial, evidence that should have been used in my favor, Ron allowed to be used against me. First, evidence showing a call to my home line (which was a good ½ hour away), 15 minutes before the alleged robbery, was used against me as “proof” that my co-defendant, had called before coming and picking me up. The call came in just prior to the robbery, during rush hour traffic, in an entirely different city. Again, my house was 30min away from the incident area. Brower could have subpoenaed the info on which cell tower was used to place the call--he didn’t The 911 call which described the alleged gun-holding robber as “light skinned Mexican”, Brower allowed to be transcribed as “white light skin”. Ron said nothing of this in court, furthermore he never once brought to the jury's attention that the perpetrator had been described in the police report as being 5 something and Hispanic, I am 6’1”, with blue eyes and pale skin. There was no physical evidence that linked me to this incident, only a suspect photo line-up. He let the photo lineup to be used, instead of requesting a live line-up which would have rendered the other unusable to the DA. Claiming in trial that he “forgot” to bring up its suggestibility.
Brower ignored my requests for a live line up for two years--a constitutional right of mine. The alleged victims initially were not able to point me out in court--even while sitting in front of them as a defendant!
Not one alleged victim pointed me out as the robber upon first being asked, but Instead Ron allowed the DA to use the above to insinuate guilt. I was refused a live lineup, not by the judge, but my own attorney, Mr. Brower. He recommended that I simply plead guilty for the 2800.2(a), and claimed it would not affect my robbery trial. But instead, he allowed the fact that I was operating a motorcycle without an M1 license, insurance, plates, be buried, while alleged evading was used by the prosecution as evidence of culpability for the robbery.
Ron claimed he would have me sent to Orange County as soon as possible after I plead to the evading charge in LA. Instead though, he let me go to prison, & I had to file my own paperwork to be sent to trial in O.C. All time I spent incarcerated prior to finally making it to Orange County was credit that I lost on my 12-year sentence!
