Stephen Lewis Kaplan

I hired Mr. Kaplan after a recommendation from another attorney. in summary Mr. Kaplan wrote a few emails, Letters, and a couple of phone calls later 4000+ dollars taken from retainer. He was forceful in recommending a lawsuit at a very high price 50k, or 40% on contingency but when I said I wanted t...o give the other party some time to live up to his fiduciary duty he asked if I agreed to him quitting. not a nice guy and hard to get a response from. All about the money imo! take the money and run imo. Would not provide copies of his documents instead provided a flash drive. filed a bar complaint.
