I ran out of money and was awaiting payment of jobs so I could pay Mr Stivers, he got scared that I couldn't pay him at all so he "urged" me to sign a sub-out form 3 weeks before my divorce. I had been married 20 years with 5 kids, 4 of which were still at home with me. It ended up that I got NO al...imony, NO child support & none of our 401K or investments, I even lost the family home. Had Mr Stivers looked into the loan or title, he would have found that my ex had not been paying on the interest of the loan as he had agreed to had refinanced without my knowledge. My ex bankrupted the business by moving the financial assets out and left me the house and business in the divorce in exchange for all of the above. Would I recommend Mr Stivers? Definitely not! Did he do his job and protect me and the kids? Definitely not. I would not recommend him at all.

I hired Mr. Stivers as my divorce attorney and I could not have asked for a more experienced or committed attorney. He was tough, fair, and well worth the money. I had a few hiccups and took care of them easily. He is a hard-ass when he needs to be and holds back when he needs to. You won't be sorry ...if you hire this attorney to handle any problem you have.

Jeff Stivers and his staff are by far the most ethical and hard working attorneys I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He represented me in a lengthy DUI that was tangled among several courts and successfully cleared my status without jail time or a suspended license. That went so well that I ...later had him represent me in a family law matter where I needed to have a dissolution of marriage/annulment. He and his staff hit this case out of the park! The matter was handled quickly and efficiently. Both of these cases were embarrassing and not one of my proudest moments. Jeff and his staff made me feel at ease and treated me with the utmost respect. He is a consummate professional and I would refer him to anyone seeking trustworthy and effective counsel.

I hired Mr. Stivers to handle my DUI case. Although it involved a felony stolen property case and DUI Jeff was able to get it resolved as a misdemeanor and no jail time. He is not just a good attorney that is highly respected by his coworkers but an honest individual. That is hard to find in lawyers... sometimes. I have consulted with him about divorce as well and his information is valuable. For now I will stay married somewhat but when I am ready to divorce I will definitely contact him.
